The source list is fixed per methodology version and only changes with a published update — but the list of candidates is always open. A board qualifies if it meets all of the criteria below.
Public
Rankings are published openly — no login, paywall, or private dataset between the scores and a reader.
Independent
Not operated by a TTS vendor being ranked, and not pay-to-place.
Reproducibly ingestible
Scores are available in a form a poller can fetch on a schedule — a page or endpoint, not screenshots or a gated interactive app.
Comparative
It ranks multiple providers’ models against each other on one scale (preference, humanness, usage, or similar).
